New Neighbors League Club of Nashville

Greetings from the President:  Annemarie Cash

I hope this summer is well under way for each of you, and everyone is enjoying a large dose of outdoor fun, family, and friends! And speaking of friends…we have a lot of activities planned this month to allow us all to keep getting together and enjoying each other’s company!

In addition to the monthly coffee club, bowling, bridge, hiking, Bunco, canasta, crafts, and luncheons throughout the month, we have a couple of very unique activities planned in upcoming months:

 Sue Mielnik and her committee are organizing a social Murder Mystery, which promises to be an unforgettable evening!
 Susan Mills and the Fashion Show team are well under way in developing the next fantastic show
 In July, Emily James of the Heritage Foundation and Susan Weiss, a member and an Attorney, will join us for the monthly luncheon, and will lead the discussion on estate planning and preparation.
 The Ways & Means ladies are busy with two projects. Please check out the information in the newsletter regarding the CitySaver books for sale in August, September, and October. Also, check out the letter and form for the New Neighbor Cookbook in the works. Please send in your recipes, as we would like every club member to participate.

I hope you will all find the time to stay involved and active during these busy summer months. I also hope that each of you will be on the look-out for new neighbors moving into the area (or just friends in the neighborhood), and invite them along to join this fun and vibrant group of women! There is nothing better than sharing a laugh and a good time with you incredible ladies, and let’s take every chance we can to share this league of fun and friendship with others.  Let's have a wonderful summer together!
